Justine Hale is making a new start. She has custody of her two children, gets her mother-in-law in the divorce settlement and inherits her bankrupt mother. She can’t decide if she at the start line or backing up.

“This has got to be one of the most enjoyable books I have come across in a long time.–heart warming and some crazy characters–funny, lovable, hopeful and believable!” ~ lynda butler, avp

“Best read in a long time. Thrilled with the whole book. Good clean book. Wish I could find more on the caliber.” ~ nan, avp

“This book is so funny, the characters come to life in this one literately. Plenty of mischief and mayhem keep you glued to this one.” ~ avid reader, avp

Justine Hale moves into Lottie’s Robert’s two-hundred-year-old house with three generations of emotional baggage–her mother, her ex mother-in-law and two pesky children. Lottie senses in Justine a kindred spirit—filled with heartache and in reduced circumstances, which mirrors Lottie’s situation exactly. Justine needs help. Lottie is of a mind to provide it, but before she can say squat, Tucker Highsmith arrives. His dark eyes, lazy grin, and sexy Alabama drawl coupled with the dern braggart’s Mr. Fix-it talents just might be the answer to all of Justine’s problems–or, maybe not… Because Lottie has her own agenda, one she has been waiting, hoping and praying for since she discovered her bones on a hidden staircase.

Flying is Parnel Stillman’s highroad. Heroics is not his thing. But Rebecca Hollis insists he must do the impossible to save the orphans.

“This is a compelling story with some intense emotions (and I’m not talking about the romantic stuff.) I loved the reluctant hero… I may know some of these characters. ” ~ k. agle, avp

“Beautifully written… The interview at the end was a wonderful example of perfect wrap-up.” ~  k.j. donovan, avp

“Awesome! This was a clean, well written novel and caught me quite by surprise. I found the characters adorable, well developed and sometimes hysterical with their antics. I laughed out loud many times during the reading. It was really a great read… Excitement, survival, a horde of kids and fighting the elements equaled a very engaging, well written book.” ~  amazon customer, avp

Parnell Stillman, ace pilot, is man to the bone in a lackadaisical kind of way. He has the ability to fly through anything except solid mountain. He lives alone because people are not to be trusted—especially women. Flying is his high road until one sleet-filled morning–it isn’t.  Mischance forces his plane down in a frozen wilderness. He can survive, but his live cargo is another matter–an annoying social worker and five orphans–the most irksome freight he’s ever hauled in his life. Take a few minutes to read the adventures of  misfits Parnell and Rebecca Hollis who think they have their hearts on lock down and their  world on a string until five orphans yank on their hearts and tie their stings in knots. Father Goose has nothing on Captain Parnell Stillman. Over 50 Reviews.

But! Gage Morgan has a bruised ego, a tight fist on his land and an iron fist on his heart and is the unlikeliest man in the universe to succumb to her schemes. With time running against her family, Phoebe plies one last inducement—her scarce feminine wiles… and even those may not be enough.
